Spiral Ductwork
Manufactured from galvanised sheet metal manufactured in 3mtr lengths as standard ranging from 80mm – 1600mm in the HVCA industry as well as kitchen ventilation & dust extraction
Elbows
Circular elbows are used with spiral ductwork and are a quick and efficient way to install ductwork runs. Being of a “male” connection type, elbows fit directly into spiral without the need for a joining collar
Male Joining Collar
Male joining collars are used to connect spiral ductwork to spiral ductwork. They can also be used on the end of a run to assist with the installation of flexibale ductwork
Female Joining Collar
Female joining collars are used to connect two male components together e.g. an elbow to another elbow or a single blade damper to a shoe
Cap End
Cap ends are a “male” component that is used to terminate a ductwork run. These fit directly into spiral ductwork without the need for a joining collar
Mesh Cap End
A mesh cap end in ductwork is used to cover the end of a duct, preventing debris and pests from entering while allowing air to flow freely
Flanged IL Spigot
A flanged IL spigot are a way to connect circular ductwork directly onto rectangular ductwork using rivets or self drilling tek screws. The spigot is “male” meaning spiral duct will slip directly over it
Saddle
Saddles are similar to IL spigots but connect circular ductwork to circular ductwork. Smaller saddles are pressed where as larger saddles are fabricated and have a smaller connecting flange
Flat Shoe
Flat shoes connect directly onto rectangular ductwork and are similar to flanged IL spigots except shoes have a lead in edge which helps airflow performance
Curved Shoe
Curved shoes connect circular ductwork together similar to saddles except with a lead in edge which increases airflow performance
Tee Piece
Tee pieces are a way to connect three circular ducts together. Tee pieces are “male” and will fit directly into spiral ductwork without the need for joining collars
Twin Bend
Twin bends connect three circular ducts together. Similar to tee pieces with the added advantage of performance due to the radius back
Standard Cowl
A standard cowl is a ventilation accessory that fits on the end of a duct, designed to protect against rain and debris while allowing air to flow out efficiently. Ideally not used for exhaust air
Jet Cowl
A jet cowl is a ductwork fitting designed to enhance the exhaust airflow of ventilation systems. It directs air upward, improving dispersion, used in building ventilation and industrial applications.
Horizontal Cowl
Horizontal cowls, also known as a “bird beak” are used to discharge air horizontally complete with bird mesh and 45° slope to prevent ingress of vermin and rain
Suspesion Rings
Suspension rings are circular supports used to hang and secure ductwork from ceilings or walls, ensuring stability and proper alignment in HVAC systems
